NBG® Suspension

Cosmetic grade NBG^® Suspension is a safe and powerful immune enhancing agent for topical application to the skin. It is attractive as an ingredient in dermaceuticals, skin care and cosmetics.

NBG^® Suspension is a cosmetic grade yeast beta-glucan isolate. It is a 5% dispersion in water, stabilised with 0.4% phenoxyethanol.

Immunity for the skin

Epidermal immunity is what gives skin the ability to counteract harmful effects of factors such as sun, smoke, stress and to eliminate and regenerate injured or infected skin tissue. NBG^® triggers the immune cells of the skin to become more potent to eradicate intruding micro-organisms, to eliminate and regenerate injured or infected skin cells and to induce collagen synthesis.

Studies have shown that the application of beta-1,3/1,6-glucan to the skin reduces the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines.
