Novel Food approved
NBG®Particulate is approved as Novel Food in EU and subjected to Article 3.4. of the European novel food Regulation (EC No. 258/97). In EU countries, food and beverages containing the ingredient must therefore be labelled in accordance with this regulation, namely “yeast (Saccharomyces cerevisiae) beta-glucans” and be used within the maximum levels in the foods specified in Annex II of Commission Implementing Decision 2011/762/EU.
